Mostly acoustic sound brings together a number of disparate influences: dark post-industrial folk (Death In June, Current 93), 1960's pop folk sound (Mamas & the Papas), the drones & textures of modern composition & experimental improvisation, & the cold alien vocal harmonies of Gothic era liturgical music. The 7 slow-burning songs shift between abstract raga-like meditations & straight melodic hooks, set against acoustic guitars, dark synth ambience, vibraphone, bells, & occasional harsh electronics, as well as authentic Medieval pump organ & recorders.
