French psych-prog-jazz-rock group founded in 1969 by drummer Christian Vander. Kobaia was released in spring 1970 and is their debut album. It is a rock opera concept album which tells the story of a group of people fleeing a doomed Earth to settle on the fictional planet Kobaïa.
