With Akvoturo, the DC-to-Philly-based space/improv collective is delving into a more experimental form of their brand of US psych/space jams. Informed by free jazz and outsider psychedelia they offer 4 tracks, a combination of Eastern inspired components, including repetitive gamelan-esque marimba, PSF inspired fuzz and more traditional sounding American psych jams (reminiscent of Bardo Pond).
