Founded in Kent in the late sixties, Pig Rider and its many off shoots have seen nearly 60 different players. Original members Colin Kitchener and John Mayes however have always been constant factors. This is a reissue of an unofficial album, originally pressed as an edition of 5 acetates in 1975. Musically they offer electric acid folk with a stoned DIY vibe and lo-fi sound, bizarre and funny lyrics, effects, backward bits, surreal humour, psychedelic skiffle, old-time music hall parodies and folk-rock-Pop, reminiscent of Incredible String Band, Bonzo Dog Band, Syd Barrett, R. Stevie Moore... Edition of 300 copies with sound from the master tapes and an insert offering photos and lyrics.
